Shaun Quincey

Trailblazing entrepreneur, Tasman adventurer, and innovative business leader. Shaun Quincey is distinguished as the only individual to have rowed solo from Australia to New Zealand, echoing the achievement of his father, Colin Quincey, who completed the reverse journey in 1977. Shaun's 54-day expedition was marked by significant challenges, including collisions with whales, multiple capsizes, and being blown 200 kilometers off course, ultimately reaching Ninety Mile Beach and securing his place in history.

Following this remarkable feat, Shaun founded Genoapay, revolutionising the payment solutions industry. Under his leadership, Genoapay achieved a valuation of nearly $10 million within six months and was subsequently acquired by Latitude, where Shaun spearheaded its expansion into Australia with LatitudePay.

Shaun's entrepreneurial journey continued with leadership roles at Icehouse Ventures and PayLeadr. Currently, as CEO and Co-founder of Simfuni, he continues to drive innovation. In 2023, Simfuni was recognised as the Insurtech Start-up of the Year, highlighting Shaun's ability to excel in dynamic and competitive industries.

Shaun Quincey's narrative is one of endurance, innovation, and excellence, embodying a unique blend of adventurous spirit and entrepreneurial acumen.
