We are determined to lead by example and minimise our carbon footprint across all operations and our supply chain."

Our targets

Our climate change targets were validated by the SBTi giving us confidence that our commitments are robust, credible, and in line with the pace of change demanded by climate science. We have four validated targets, as follows:

net-zero

Reach net-zero GHG emissions across Scope 1, 2, and 3 by 2050.

A 50% reduction in absolute Scope 1 and 2 emissions by 2030.

A 25% reduction in absolute Scope 3 emissions by 2030.

80% of its suppliers have science-based emissions reduction targets by 2025 (We successfully achieved this target in FY24).

Energy, waste, and water use management

  • We are developing a company-wide energy-management policy and regional emissions reduction targets in FY25.
  • In FY24, 270 metric tonnes of waste were generated, with 65% sent for recycling.
  • Westcon-Comstor’s direct operations are not water-intensive, using water mainly for drinking, sanitation, and landscaping.

Other highlights

We established an ESG steering committee with senior leaders that meets bi-annually to discuss sustainability and strategy.

We met 88% of our electricity needs in Europe using renewable sources, a 10% increase since FY23, and we aim for 100% globally by 2030.

We expanded ISO 14001 and ISO 9001 certifications to logistics centres in Australia, New Zealand, and Singapore, covering 63% of our operational sites.* * Westcon-Comstor’s logistics facilities and US HQ.
